Alexis Gradishar - Founder & Co-Director

Alexis traveled as a teenager to the Soviet Union in the 1980s to participate in the first Soviet-American Youth Summit, where she had the privilege of getting to know the Russian people began to understand the critical importance of cross-cultural relationships. The experience prompted her to pursue Russian in college and eventually took her back to Russia where she lived and worked for six years. She completed her career abroad in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia for Johns Hopkins University as Country Director of their Women’s Health Project.

In 2002, Alexis came to Denver and founded Just GO! Global Outreach for Students as a vehicle to support and expand youth involvement and understanding of international culture and opportunity. Alexis is primarily responsible for developing and implementing the programs for Just GO! Global.

Mary Camacho, Co-Director
Mary Camacho is Co-director of Just GO! Global, responsible for finance, operations and strategic development. With a broad business background including more than eight years as the CFO/COO for an Internet software development firm and presently the Business Manager of Culture Counts, Inc. a an employee ownership and culture consulting firm, she brings a wealth of business acumen and experience. 

Mary's commitment to international education began during more than eight years of studying, working and living in Spain.  She has focused a great deal of her education on intercultural issues and language, and has also taught high-school Spanish. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Science from the University of Chicago.  She plans on completing a PhD in Research Evaluation and Methodology in Education.
